These are a unique and unusual line of Guppies I purchased abroad. I have not ever seen these offered on Aquabid before. They have several unusual traits, these are roundtails, metalhead with the cobra/snakeskin body pattern. These young adult fish are 'F1' generation from parents purchased directly from europe. All of the photos below are among the actual fish that you will be purchasing or siblings from the same batch, they are F1's. I can see already that these are a healthy prolific line. One of the things I like most about this line is that the metalheads are very dark almost black on the fish you will receive. As these fish fully mature I think they will become black headed with metallic gunmetal iridescence. These grow to be slightly larger than an endler, but are small for a guppy. These will produce occasional lateral/horizontal black striped males with a black metalhead as shown in the last photo. These have an outstanding featured roundtail fin on occassion which is the direction I am going with the line. This is a really unique accent to the outstanding body color. This is a prolific line! You'll notice they will exhibit several interesting behaviors such as when the males test each other and raise their fins, the males will often chase the females in a group competing for the female as well as swim in a school quite often, something you rarely see with delta tail guppies. They more closely resemble endlers in size and behavior. These will make an awesome compliment to an endler collection. The color in the photos is their actual color.
They definitely have a very different look for a guppy, very eye catching, almost florescent coloration, another ultimate fish for a well lit Nano Aquarium. The photos were taken outdoors, in person, they display a bit more reflective irridescence than is apparent in the pics. They are naturally a very active fish as you will soon notice, a great beginners fish as well as a novelty for advanced aquarist. They hardly eat their fry.
