Hello folks! Happy Thursday! I had a Female Black Berlin Sword drop 147 fry for me on Tuesday morning. REALLY. I actually counted them cuz I couldn't believe it myself and that's NOT including any she might have eaten during the process. I am thinking that's GOTTA be close to one of those "Guinness world records". I took photo's of them and am going to try to document the raising of these fish cuz they are something special. She was actually a product of a cross between a Male Black Sword and a Female RREA Lyretail Sword and since I bred her into one of her Brothers who is also a Black Berlin Sword, I got lots of RREA Fry out of the drop too! Why am I telling you this in one of Ol' Conrad's Guppy offerings? CUZ I TALK TOO MUCH that's why! This auction is for a total of 12 "Superior Moscow Red Grass HD (High Dorsal) Guppies"! Why the LONG NAME? Cuz that's what we bought them as and they just sound more expensive when I call them "Superior Moscow Red Grass HD (High Dorsal) Guppies" than just plain old Red Grass Guppies! Also cuz these fish are AWESOME! You WILL receive a total of 3 NICE Pr's. of Standard fin Superior Moscow Red Grass HD (High Dorsal) Guppies and a total of 3 Pr's. of Extended fin Superior Moscow Red Grass HD (High Dorsal) Guppies. In fact, from just one measly Trio of Superior Moscow Red Grass HD (High Dorsal) Guppies he now has both Red and Blue types PLUS he has both of those color varieties in both standard and extended fin types too! That's 4 different strains he got from 3 measly Guppies we paid a ridiculous amount of money for. So I guess if I look at it that way all that putzing around Conrad does before he finally decides it's time to start SELLING a line ends up being worthwhile in the long run after all! Now, before I finish this thing up and get back to photographing some of MY fish to offer up this week, let me just say- I REALLY like this strain of fish. They have HUGE dorsal fins, they end up with VERY NICE Delta tails and for some reason I can't quite pin down I have a feeling these were crossed with either Endlers or Picta's at some time during their development. They just have that smaller more dainty look about them. Lastly, if I EVER garner enough tank space and a little extra time in my fish room (it's been VERY cramped down there this Winter) I am definitely going to cross one of my NICE Male Super cross Guppies into one of these Female extended fin Superior Moscow Red Grass HD (High Dorsal) Guppies.
