Description

Photos show fish at various ages, actual auction fish are 3 months of age. They have been fed newly hatched brineshrimp from birth, frozen bloodworms, frozen artemia, and a unique blend of premium flakes. I bought these many years ago on auction here for $232/pair from Edgar Chiasson, the creator of this unique strain. He selectively bred extraordinarily red males from Alderson Gold Reds. These have never been outcrossed with any other strains and are in their most purest form. I have in the past used this strain to outcross with and have enjoyed the many different strains it's capable of producing, especially red coloration in the head area. The males express the full body red at maturity, or about 6-7 months. Winner will receive 2 trios, Then, I'll add an extra pair as shipping insurance for a total of 8 fish. PLUS! I'll add (10) Corydoras paleatus longfin albino at 1/2". These make great tankmates for guppies, and for most tropical fish.
