Description

Up for bids is one trio of my rare and very limited IFGA Class Championship winning H/B Purples. I won the H/B Purple Class Championship in 2008,2009 & 2010. I have not showed more than two fish this show season so I obviously am not in the lead this year in the class. This line is very rare. Part of it being because it drops both H/B Purples and H/B Bules. It is not uncommon for this line to drop a 50% H/B Purples and 50% H/B Blues. Then factor in the male to female ratio that does not leave many H/B Purple males. With a good drop you may be looking at 7 or 8 H/B Purple Males out of a drop. But the males that you do get are all exceptional fish and always do well on the show bench. Their is not to many people breeding H/B Purples which adds to their rarity. On top of that this line has neutral or sexed lined females which makes them very valuable for crossing. With that said I don't have many of these to go around. This is the only trio of H/B Purples I will be selling until late August or early September. I plan on raising most of them up to show next year so I am not selling many. The trio you will receive will be about 3 months of age and the females will be virgin to ensure that the top quality male I pick out for the winner is the one doing the breeding. The fish in the photo is 8 months old and is not the fish you will get but represents the quality of males this line can produce.
