These are nice, young fish I photographed for this auction and these fish WILL develop nice BIG Delta tails. I unconditionally guarantee that.
Why would you want dried Oak leaves and why would I be sending you crap like this? Well- I collect those on my property at the cabin in a spot between 2 very large woodland ponds. They are loaded with infusoria cysts that will hatch out quickly if you soak them in water for a couple days. I was talking to a couple German breeders at the OCA Extravaganza a couple years a go and they taught me a lot about using dried hard wood leaves in tanks. Hell, you can cycle tanks with them, use them for cover, a lot of fish (like Rams) like to lay eggs on them and they really have a lot of uses. I spawned a big colony of hifin paleatus here last Month before I sold them for a guy and as soon as I saw the eggs all over the place I pulled the adults and added about 12 large Oak leaves to the 20 long. I had zero fungused eggs and by the time the cories got to be free swimming there was enough infusoria in the tank to feed 200 of them for about 10 days, and I mean they were FAT. I just think us Americans find out about this kind of stuff about 5 years after the Germans perfect this sort of crap. Just pipe down and try them, it's not like I am actually charging you anything for them.
