This auction is for 4 Curipera Red Discus with Free Shipping This is a great gene pool to work with. We have a Breeding Pair F3s that came out of a Wild Tefe Green Male X Super Red Female. I then bred the fry to a wild female Alenquer Red. The outcome has been a super fertile spawn average 200+With 95% fertility with great color. These will have the wild characteristics with an extremely wide gene pool. They could be bred to any Red color variety or a red turquoise which would enhance the quality adding the wild blood. They could also be bred to each other for color selection for a number of generations without compromising the fish to to the wide gene pool. The young look great, round with high fins. These Discus are dime size and are on liquefied beef heart but are still eating baby brine. Why ship so small? Smaller Discus acclimates better than larger Discus. Some of the best Discus I ever got where from Jack Wattley in the late 80s early 90s they were $24.95 and the size of a fingernail no losses and they acclimated very quickly. Water conditions are 350 MicroSiemens less than 80 mg/l Total Hardness. The pH is not important. I do not import Discus due to diseases and parasitic issues all the Discus are bred by me. Please send me any questions.
