Description

The babies are quarter size right now and growing quickly. These fish were hatched and raised in Chicago tap water (pH 7.4-7.6 and hardness of about 170 ppm). We do not use R/O water or any buffers in our water, so it should be easy for them to acclimate to anyone's tank. The babies are currently eating crushed flake, crushed tetrabits, .5mm Spectrum pellets and frozen beef heart.

Why quarter size? Discuses are especially susceptible to fin damage during shipping. The larger they are, the greater the chances of arriving with damaged fins. By shipping them �quarter-sized� we reduce the likelihood of fin damage and they will acclimate to your tank much faster than more mature fish.
