Description

This auction is for 3 pairs of my favorite barb ever: Oreichthys crenuchoides. I thought the Nothobranchius killies had the most impressive dorsal fin of all freshwater fish...then I saw these guys swimming around in a tank at my friend Stan Sung's house. They were displaying, their dorsal fins were fully extended, and they BLEW MY MIND!!! The pic is one Stan took of those very fish while they were displaying, and I'd like to thank him for letting me use it to sell these awesome fish. Not only are these barbs beautiful, but they are not picky eaters and they spawn with regularity. Every time I change the water they go straight into their spawning displays and fill the mop with their rather large eggs. I use them as garbage disposals: If I have left over food from the other fish, these guys will eat it. Boiled peas, frozen blood worms, baby brine shrimp, flakes, pellets, algae wafers...they are not picky! The three pairs I'm going to send you from my spawning group should provide you with hours of enjoyment and lots of babies. I will be shipping these on Monday, April 28. If I have not received payment by noon on Sunday, April 27th, I will re-list these fish for someone else to purchase. My PayPal addy is Dan's Fish. These are beautiful fish.
