24 Black-spot barb juvies! / Puntius Filamentosus

Auction items: You are bidding on a group of 24 unsexed Black-spot barbs at approximately 1/2" in length. The first auction on the 24 pack of filamentosus went well, so here comes your second chance on this deal! After this auction I only have enough fish in the tank to run the auction one more time or a 3rd time. So if you want a large quantity of these great looking fish you better get them this auction or the final one:) I am selling these guys at a smaller size so I can fit more barbs in the box. These guys will need a grow out tank, but it is a great chance to see the different phases of these barbs as they develop. After a few months you will see the black bars disappear and the black-spot develop. Give it a couple more months after that and you will start to see the orange & black tips develop in their tail fins. If you get lucky enough to see the filamentosus as an adult it is quite the pleasure:) Out of all the fish I have ever seen, a fully mature black-spot barb male in spawning is one of my favorites! As I mentioned earlier, I only have slightly over 48 of these guys left, and once they are gone that�s it for 2011.
