Description

OTO's Hi All, We have yet another Cute little Algae eater. It is called Otocinclus Vittatus. They will only grow to about 2" and do best in groups of 6 or more. Their tank should have hiding places such as roots and leaves. They will also spawn on the wood or under side of leaves. That is why we are throwing in an Indian Almond leaf,(terminalia Catappa- Ketapang). It will add tannins as well as helping to add acid to the water which is what they need to spawn. They love algae and will also eat sinking pellets as well as flake. The females look plumper when viewed from the top. We will do our best at throwing in a mix of the sexes so you will have a chance at breeding them. In the wild they double in population every few months. They will not eat their fry so there is no need to remove the parents either. This auction is for 3 with more available at auction win price. The pics below are the actual fish you are bidding on. They are cute and healthy fish, so bid away. We use USPS Priority, or express if preferred. Someone must be present at the time of delivery to receive the fish.
