8 juvenile, unsexed kribs. The parents are pictured. Actually, so are the fish you are bidding on. The fry pictured at the bottom of the photo are the fish you are bidding on. At this time, they are approximately 1/2" long and coloring up nicely. They are feeding aggressively on Tetramin flake, chopped frozen brine shrimp and the occasional shot of live baby brine. If you are interested in breeding these guys, I'd place them all in the same tank(even a community tank), grow them out and let them pair-off. The parents pictured would routinely breed in a community tank and defend their fry. You could siphon out some fry from the community tank to raise them separately or place your pair in a 20 long and let them raise the fry on their own without the distraction of other fish trying to pick-off their fry. I keep mine in hard Lake Erie tap water at 78 degrees. Kribs are a great cichlid to work with because you get to observe great cichlid behavior(fry rearing) without the typical cichlid aggression between the male and female. In addition, you don't need a really large tank to breed them and rear fry. This auction will close Sunday, 4/10. This auction will ship Tuesday, 4/12. Shipping is $16 non-refundable on top of the winning bid. It includes an insulated box and appropriate heat pack(s) to get your fish to you in excellent condition. Payment is due at the close of the auction. I will send the winning bidder an email with payment instructions at the end of the auction. If you pay timely I'll include a total of 12 kribs. Thanks for looking.
