Description

Up for auction are 7 unsexed Anomalochromis thomasi juvies, at about 1 inch. This is a beautiful, peaceful West African dwarf. Males grow to about 3", female 2.5 inches. These are the form from Guinea, with deep red eyes and bold black stripes. The fish you'll receive managed to grow up in a community tank with their parents, several other adults, Apistogramma paulmuelleri, assorted tetras & a mess of Epiplatys dageti. Photo is of their father. This species, like many cichlids from South America, take time to reach their full potential. Fully grown adults look like they're covered in amethysts. This species is one of the hardiest I've worked with. One jumped out when I was doing a water change,& landed behind some furniture. When I finally located it 10 or 15 minutes later it was covered in schmutz & appeared to be dead. I returned it to its tank hoping for the best & 10 minutes later it was swimming around as if nothing had happened.USPS priority shipping still isn't very reliable, so I'll only ship to NY, NJ & CT for $20.00 with no guarantee of live arrival.
