Description

RARE OPPORTUNITY! This species was available briefly in the U.S. in the early 2000s, but seems to have disappeared form the hobby. I brought over a few young adults from Germany. The fish for sale are a mix from my two first spawns. The auction is for a group of six unsexed Hemichromis cerasogaster, up to 1/3" in size. I might make more fish available, depending on the winning bid price. The picture shows the female parent. Live arrival is guaranteed for any overnight shipping method (minus cost of shipping). The buyer needs to be at home to receive the fish and send a picture of the fish in the unopened original bag within two hours of receipt in order to claim a refund. I typically do well shipping fish 2nd day, but do not guarantee live arrival for 2nd day shipping. If the shipper screws up, it is the buyers responsibility to work out a refund. Buyer pays the actual cost of shipping. I dont charge for boxes, bags, polyfilter etc. However, you will be charged $2 for a heat pack, if applicable. The fish will be shipped in a Styrofoam box inside a cardboard box. I reserve the right to delay shipping in case of an unfavorable weather forecast. Paypal is strongly preferred as the method of payment (JZEMPLENI2@UNL.EDU). Since I have had that happen in the past: I will not sell the fish to folks who want them exclusively for research purposes, but only to aquarists or researchers who have the intent to keep them in the hobby through breeding.
