Description

6 juvenile, unsexed, transcriptus Gombe. The fish you are bidding on are approx 1". This is a particularly nice strain of Gombe. The adult fish are short and stocky. The larger fish of the adult breeding pair pictured is less than 3". The pair pictured are approximately 6 years old. Colors are vivid and they develop a nice blue iridescence on the fin edges. I keep my breeding pair in an upper corner tank in my fish room and any visitors usually gravitate to them. I keep mine is a 20 gallon with one rock cave. They are in hard Lake Erie tap water at 78 degrees. I feed them Tetramin flake, frozen brine shrimp, chopped frozen bloodworms and the occasional squirt of live baby brine. I complete a 50% water change weekly. The adult pair routinely produce small clutches of fry(15-20 fish). Multiple generations of fry will grow-up together. I've also kept them in a mixed Tanganyikan community tank with leleupi, comps and multi's with no issues. The pair bond is strong but in a community tank the fry tend to get picked-off by the other fish. Shipping is $15 non-refundable on top of the winning bid. This auction will ship Tuesday 12/3, so payment is due at the close of the auction on Monday 12/2. If payment is not received as requested, I will relist the auction. Thanks for looking.
