Description

5 unsexed, juvenile julidichromis transcriptus Gombe and 5 unsexed, juvenile neolamprologus multifasciatus. The male parent of each fish is pictured. I keep both of these fish in similar conditions. Their substrate is several inches of play sand. Hard Lake Erie tap water at 78 degrees. For the Gombe I use a single rock cave. For the multis I use dozens of escargot shells. I keep mine in separate aquariums but you can maintain them in a Tanganyikan community tank. The fish you are bidding on are similar in size at approx 1" - 1.5". I feed them the same foods. Tetramin flake, frozen brine shrimp, chopped frozen bloodworms and an occasional squirt of live baby brine. I change 1/3 of their water weekly. The Gombe will eventually pair off and establish a pair bond. The multis are true colony breeders with dozens of fish living in close proximity to one another in their collection of shells. Both strains are very nice and fry can remain with the parents as they mature with multiple generations living together. Shipping is $20 non-refundable on top of the winning bid. I'd like to ship this auction Tuesday 10/22. So payment is due at the close of auction on Monday 10/21. If payment is not received as requested, I will relist the auction. Thanks for looking.
