Description

6 juvenile, unsexed multi's. I have kept groups of these in a mixed Tanganyikan community tank but fry mortality is pretty high. I prefer to keep my colony in a 20 long with about 2"-3" of pool sand and dozens of escargot shells. I keep them in hard Lake Erie tap water at about 78 degrees. When kept in this manner there will be multiple generations of fry living along side the parents. My current colony has 3 adult pairs of fish that regularly produce small broods of fry. When fish density gets high I start pulling the juvenile fish for sale to make room for the subsequent generations of fry. I feed my colony Tetramin flake, frozen brine shrimp, frozen blood worms, live baby brine and live black worms. I change half the water weekly. Shipping is $20 non-refundable on top of the winning bid. This auction will ship Wednesday 9/11, so payment is requested at the close of the auction on Tuesday 9/10.
