Description

Up for sale is a group (5 + 1 free) of Julidochromis transcriptus at about 1 1/2" in size. These are too small to sex but since you are getting 6 fish odds are that you will end up with at least 1 pair. These are hardy fish that breed relatively easy given a few caves or rock work. The buyer may purchase more of these fish at the same per fish price. We prefer to ship overnight via USPS or FedEx and we offer live arrival guarantee as long as the fish are delivered in 1 day, on time and there is someone home to accept delivery on the first attempt. If using USPS (Post Office) you can opt to use the "Hold for Pick-up" option and you can pick up your package at the post office, this saves the fish from riding around in the mail truck all day. If using Hold for Pick-up option you must pick up your fish within 3 hours of when they are available at the post office for the guarantee to be valid. In the event of a DOA fish you must email us a photo of the dead fish in our unopened bag within 2 hours of delivery. We do not guarantee free fish nor do we guarantee any portion of the shipping charges. Replacement value will be credited to your next purchase, we do not refund paypal or credit cards. If you live close enough to our hatchery we can ship USPS Priority or FedEx Ground and the fish will get to you in 1 day. We can also ship USPS Priority with 2-3 day delivery but we do not guarantee past 1 day. While we do not guarantee 2-3 day shipments we ship this way often with no problems at all. We pack all of our fish in double and triple layer bags with oxygen. We provide styro lined boxes and heat packs, when needed, at no additional cost to you. You can email us at: fatfish@neo.rr.com with your zip code to get a shipping quote or with any other questions you may have --- please do this BEFORE YOU BID. Payment can be made by Paypal or credit card and should be made no later than 4-5 days after the close of the sale. If you pay by credit card there will be an additional fee of 4% of the total sale (fish + shipping) added to the final price. Remember you can combine my auctions or purchase additional fish to help defray the cost of shipping. We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays and once we receive your payment we will set up a shipping day. We fast your fish for 3 days prior to shipping to cut down on waste in the shipping bags. Generally if you pay by Thursday or Friday we can ship the first of the following week. All of the fish we sell are bred and raised in our Family Run Fish Hatchery.
