Care/feeding notes: Great Tanganyikan sand sifter � and a maternal mouthbrooder. Give them some room, they are reputed to be a bit aggressive amongst themselves and so far have been living up to this reputation! In the scientific literature they are listed as a synonym of Callochromis pleurospilus, but hobbyists have split this into a separate species. Either way, they are striking fish!
