Description

Up for auction is six tetracanthus juveniles plus two extras in case of DOAs. They will be lovingly shipped directly to your door by priority mail or express for the extra charges if you prefer. Shipping will be a flat $13.00 for priority mail and no guarantees. We will ship as soon as monies clear. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Trade names and synonyms Lamprologus tetracanthus, Lamprologus brevianalis, Lamprologus marginatus. Size Males could reach a size of 20 cm, females are smaller. Food In the wild it is mainly feeding on different invertebrates. Aquarium Could be hold in quite small tanks, from 150 litres and above. Habitat Occurs in sandy habitats and the intermediate zone between rocks and sandy in shallow waters. Breeding Substrate spawner. General Neolamprologus tetracanthus is despite the size a quiet and peaceful cichlid. Distribution Occurs all around the Lake Tanganyika.
