Description

You don't see this fish around. Hardly ever. And when you do you pay an incredibly high amount for wild caught fish coming from India that are full of parasites. I looked for 3 full years for this fish before I was able to bring in a wild group of 7. I was able to get 4 of them through worming treatments and was lucky enough to still have a pair.

This is the Canara Pearlspot Cichlid, also known as the roman numeral cichlid due to its markings looking like roman numerals. It is a completely freshwater cichlid from India. Similar to its close relatives, the green and red chromides, this fish lives its entire life in straight freshwater and does not require brackish.

Pictured above is my breeding group and below are the fry you are bidding on.

Up for auction are 5, incredibly healthy, F-1 fry around 2". They are nearly impossible to sex, even as adults.

As far as I know I am one of just a few people to have successfully bred these in captivity and raise the fry. Fish were bred in 180 TDS in warm water... they like temps 78-82 degrees and do best in highly oxygenated water in a species only tank.

Shipping will be UPS 2 day or UPS ground. I can give a quote once the auction is won. Buyer will pay actual amount and I will include a heat pack as needed. Live arrival of fish, not shipping, guaranteed if fish arrive on time. DOA required within 1 hour of delivery. I reserve the right to delay shipping as weather appropriate.
