Description

Paratilapia sp Andapa is a new comer to the US, its distinct large silver/white spots make it, in my opinion, the most attractive of all Paratilapia. Breeding males develop a yellow margin on the dorsal fin. This fish also happens to grow rather large so it makes a great display specimen. In Madagascar it is no longer found in the wild so it is extinct and a handful breeding programs keep this species from disappearing all together. This auction is for single juvenile, unknown sex, very active and feeding on commercial fish food.
