Description

Hello! This auction is for a young colony of Pseudotropheus saulosi, with about 25 adults. These are a batch of young from my breeding group that I didn't have time to sell over the past 6 months. Several females have held and I'll send along any young in the tank. Really, I'm going to be sending all of the fish in the tank. There are more than 25 fish, I just can't count all of them. Pseudotropheus saulosi stay small compared to other mbuna and you can keep a nice sized colony in a 40 gallon tank with good success. Males are bright blue and have black masks on the face and black bars on the body when in breeding dress. The females stay solid orange/yellow, with some darker pigment in the median fins. The picture is of the parental colony and some of their previous young. This colony is composed of young from three females. The adults are an equal mix of F1 from a place out west and a really nice captive bred line. The F1s are much duskier as adults and juveniles and it is evident in all the offspring. The nice thing about that is that the females are much more solidly colored and orange. Shipping is by FedEx overnight or 2nd day express unless you are within the one or two day delivery time for FedEx home delivery from 37919. The type of shipping will depend on the weather.
