Description

Hello! This auction is for eight juvenile Pseudotropheus saulosi between 1 and 2 inches in total length. Pseudotropheus saulosi stay small compared to other mbuna and you can keep a nice sized colony in a 40 gallon tank with good success. Males are bright blue and have black masks on the face and black bars on the body when in breeding dress. The females stay solid orange/yellow, with some darker pigment in the median fins. The top picture is of the young and bottom pictures are of the parental colony. These are from four females, but I can't guarantee the ratio from each female. The adults are an equal mix of F1 from a place out west and a really nice captive bred line. The F1s are much duskier as adults and juveniles and it is evident in all the offspring. The nice thing about that is that the females are much more solidly colored and orange. Shipping is by FedEx overnight or 2nd day express unless you are within the one or two day delivery time for FedEx home delivery from 37919. The type of shipping will depend on the weather.
