Description

This auction is for 10 Electric Blue Acara Nice Fish No Reserve Free Shipping. Not imported, bred here they have a very nice neon blue color. This is a color morph or sport (not a hybrid) of the original Blue Acara formally known as Aequidens pulcher. Through selective breeding the Electric Blue or Neon Blue Acara was developed. These are about 3/4" ...The blue acara many decades ago was one of the most popular aquarium fish of the cichlid family, due to its peacefulness and being very easy to breed even in a community aquarium without any loss to other inhabitants or fry. The fish is found in Central America, Colombia and South America. It is not as aggressive as other fish of cichlid family and is now know as Andinoacara pulcher.
