The picture below depicts an adult male and female. These beautiful�South American cichlids are generally peaceful but can display mild aggression during breeding. Imperial Tropicals has been in business since 1970 and is a family run business who has been mainly a wholesaler over the years. However, we have recently decided to start also offering our product direct to the hobby! Please see our other auctions for more great deals on our beautiful fish! We can combine shipping, so please message us if you purchase multiple items! Shipping policy (please read!!!): � In some cases, we may hold your fish for 48-72 hours before shipment. In this period, we closely monitor them to ensure they are happy and healthy. We also do not feed them during this time in order to 'clean out' their digestive systems to lessen the chances of the fish dying or becoming ill during transit due to poor water quality. We ship via USPS Priority. We only ship Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. In the rare event that you receive a dead fish, we ask that you send us a picture as soon as possible.
