Care/feeding notes: A fairly uncommon dwarf cichlid from South America, these fish have an interesting checkerboard pattern of black patches on a creamy to yellowish background. Males develop a beautiful lyretail outlined in metallic blue. They are feeding on newly hatched brine shrimp, frozen bloodworms, flake and pellet foods. For me they have been leaf spawners, breeding on the surface of shorter Anubias leaves. LIVE DELIVERY GUARANTEED!
