Description

6 unsexed, juvenile nanolutea. They are between 1/4" - 1/2". They are kept in hard Lake Erie tap water at 78 degrees. They are eating Tetramin flake, frozen brine shrimp and chopped frozen bloodworms. A photo of the mom fanning eggs is pictured. These are great small Central American cichlid. My pair are under 4". They are great parents. I leave the young with the parents for a couple months before I start to sell them. Once the youngsters are out of the parent tank they resume spawning behavior. At spawning time the parents take on a deep black and vivid yellow coloration. My understanding is that they are a CARES species due to development in the area where they are found, reducing or destroying their habitat. Shipping is $15, non-refundable, on top of the winning bid. This auction will ship Monday 6/29 so payment is due at the close of the auction on Sunday 6/28.
