Description

Hello! This auction is for 10 sub adult Amatitlania nigrofasciata from Lago Coatepeque between 2" and 3". Picture is of some of the fish being offered at a smaller size. These were described as a different species, A. coatepeque, but that species was recently sunk (article abstract: http://www.asihcopeiaonline.org/doi/abs/10.1643/CI-13-153). The fish from Coatepeque are genetically monophyletic, but nested within other A. nigrofasciata. They are great little Convicts, very robust and active. All shipping is by FedEx; Overnight or 2nd day while temperatures are mild, unless you are within the one day delivery time for FedEx home delivery from 37919.
