8 Young Cryptohero Cutteri This auction is for 8 young Cryptohero Cutteri also known as the �Blue eyed Cichlid� and previously known as Archocentrus spilurus. I bought them as Cryptohero Cutteri and that�s what I�ma sell them as. When I first got my pair in they were in with sub adult angels and everything was going fine, but when they decide to spawn, look out these guys are vicious and will tear anything I kept with them to bits. They are a Central American Cichlid and my pair doesn�t seem to bother plants but they do dig so your setup has to have good rood base before they grow out. Once they have fry it was quite comical to watch the adults grab a stem to shake the detritus and infusoria from the bushy stems. I didn�t do anything special to spawn them they laid eggs on a sword leaf, once the fry began to wiggle they moved them to pit dug underneath a piece of driftwood. They make excellent parents and even at this size I�m still keeping them with the adults. I�m sure for most Cichlid keepers this is all common knowledge but aside from Angels and Discus I really haven�t played with Cichlids much. The 8 im going to send you are about the size of a nickel and will eat anything. I�ve shipped a few as extras at this size and they shipped great. I�m also going to send you a 4� Amazon sword and stem plant for them to play in. All Plants are grown in my Fish room under Medium low lighting <3WPG with no addition of CO2 and regular dosing of the Seachem fertilizer line and API Root Tabs. My fish are fed a variety of foods, the bulk of their diet consists of Golden Pearls, Uncle Ricks PRO-GROW and Better then Brine Lohachata�s PLECOCAIN Capitan Bob�s FRENZY & Beef Heart FRENZY If you are still buying generic flake from your local fish store I highly recommend you save some cash, give your fish more nutrition and support some fellow hobbyists.
