PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION OF THIS AUCTION WELL. I have a group of 6 F1 Neolebias ansorgii from a Congo collection point. First, the photo is of a Neolebias ansorgii from Gabon that I took years ago. I am w/o a good camera right now, so I thought this was a good representation. When I first laid eyes upon them it was very clear that they were exceptional compared to the ones more regularly in the hobby from West Africa. I have been trying for years to get a similar breeding group from a Central African locality. I ran into luck and got a small wild group from Boma in the Congo. These also turned out to be one of the colorful types! It is also fairly close to the type locality of N. ansorgii which makes it interesting. Anyway, like in the photo, the fish being offered do not have the stripe in the middle of the body (when mature) and they are all color! This locality is similar to the photo, but there is a little bit more of the blue/green color. There is also a small vertical mark behind the gill plates. They are bold fish, easy to keep and they like to display among themselves. The original fish were pricey, but to me well worth it. The 1" long males are just little gems. Perfect for an African Congo biotope. If your low temperatures are above 50 degrees I can ship these for $20. If it is colder, I can ship express for $50. I guarantee live arrival on either method.
