Description

Auction is for 10 of these beautiful undescribed oddball Brazilian tetras known as �Sunset� Tetras. The breeders came from the world renowned master aquarist himself, Rosario LaCorte who has maintained them for many years now. My photo is of a male from the group of breeders, but unfortunately he isn�t showing his spawning colors, that he often displays. The entire underside of his body, from chin to black spot, including pelvic fins and anal fins, gets a bright golden orange color...hence the common name Rosario gave them...the �SUNSET TETRA�. Some may call this fish the Kitty Tetra, Hyphessobrycon heliacus, but I�m sure they are not the same fish. I�ve maintained Kittys before and they never get this nice, not to mention, the body color is different, the fins & black spot are also different. Some of them also don�t have an adipose fin!(noticed sometimes in Tetras.) These are tank raised fish, spawned and raised in our hatchery, NOT stressed out, emaciated imported fish that just arrived in the USA and are ready to die! Only methods of shipping offered are USPS Express Shipping for a flat rate of $38.00 or UPS ground (less expensive) if ground delivery is no more that a 2 day delivery time from Pittsburgh PA 15236. Both methods of shipping depends on the weather, I will not ship if weather may pose a delivery delay. Shipping cost includes an insulated box that you keep and a heat pack.
