More tunes nobodies ever heard!! Hello folks! Happy Thursday! This offering is for 3 wild caught L-204's. These fish are right about 3 inches long perhaps slightly longer. I have had them at least 12 weeks and all 3 fish are in perfect condition. Each fish will be bagged separately so they arrive to you in PERFECT condition also. They are mainly wood eaters which is the reason why I only could photograph 2 of them for this auction. The 3rd one of stuck inside a piece of wood and I couldn't get it out this afternoon. Don't worry, I'll catch that one tomorrow morning so I can purge it along with the other two. Ever wonder how folks catch plecos that live in caves or wood so they can bag them up and take them to auctions, or sell them to someone, or even just move them to a new tank without also moving the cave or wood in the process? I don't know how everyone does it but here's how I do it. In the morning before the sun comes up and BEFORE my tank lights come on or even just regular lights are turned on I approach the tank while the room is still dark using only a flashlight. At night when it's dark plecos are almost NEVER in their caves or jammed into a piece of driftwood and all you really have to do is gently open up the lid of the tank and net them out using just a net and a flashlight. Even if the plecos in his cave as long as you drop a few pellets into the tank near him you will find they quickly come out and start feeding away from their cave, just don't turn your tank light on or a bunch of room lights and you should have no problem catching the fish you want without having to tear apart your entire tank. I REALLY enjoy keeping L-204's cuz they are great looking plecos AND they tend to come out more at feeding time so you can actually SEE them more often than most cave spawning plecos. I like them enough to have taken over 100 different photo's of them in the past and you can go HERE to see some of my better photo's of this species. I am selling these 3 fish as unsexed. In my opinion they are just too young to start trying to sex out individuals at this time. Here in my fish room they are aggressively eating Kens Veggie still along with Fluval bug bites but really what they mostly eat is wood. Their scientific name is Panaqolus albivermis and they are also commonly called "Flash Plecos". Click HERE to check out Planet Catfish's page on them. I will include some Veggie Sticks and Bug Bites so the catfish have some foods they are already accustomed to eating and you gotta supply the wood.
