Description

You are bidding on a single, tank raised Ancistrus sp. "Snowflake" sized at 2"TL and unsexed. These are a dwarf bristlenose reaching just about 3.5" TL when fully grown. They originally showed up in an import via Manaus, Brazil to Germany a good many years ago. Spawning efforts of well known hobbyist, Stephan Tanner, got these established here in the USA. These are probably F3 young. They were spawned and raised by a buddy of mine, not by myself. A few additional fish are available that the winner of the auction will have the option to buy at the price per fish of the final bid.

Remember these are tank raised fish, being naturally spawned and raised in aquariums in our own hatchery, NOT stressed out, emaciated imported fish (which are often misidentified) that just arrived in the USA and are ready to die! These are NOT pond raised or farm raised using artificial methods either, as some others call �tank raised�!!

Only method of shipping offered is USPS Express Shipping for $30 (for a single fish) and it will probably be best to use the �hold for pick up� (at post office) option if temps in your area are high . By using the �hold for pick up� option it will help protect the shipment from a day of exposure to weather conditions as it rides around in a mail truck for hours prior to delivery to your home. ALSO, this method can sometimes speed up the delivery times on scheduled 2 day deliveries to late next day. Serious bidders, BEFORE YOU BID, Email me your shipping zip code for delivery times as some USPS Express is a 2 day delivery.

Live delivery will be guaranteed, as long as someone is present to receive & sign for shipment on the first delivery attempt. (Please make sure fish are unpacked & tended to upon arrival, as any DOA must be report to me within an hour of package acceptance. Photos of DOA in original, unopened bag required.). If using the �hold for pick up� option or a PO Box, packages must be picked up within 2 hours once available at your post office.

Live delivery is guaranteed to you, but I DO NOT GUARANTEE THE DELIVERY TIME! This means I guarantee you get live, healthy fish, if they arrive an hour late or day late, but alive and in good condition, you do not get any money back for the late delivery.

I don't use USPS Priority Mail (and please don't ask me to, saying you will take the risk!) because they are so unpredictable and unreliable. I have already had packages in the past take up to two weeks to get delivered; I will not to take a gamble with living things!!! Let us avoid any problems, headaches, arguments and hard feelings just to try and save a few dollars!!
