Current auction is for 6+1 F1 ancistrus. These are young fish 1.25- 1.5, very dark body coloration with white dots similar to a L-183 (see below). They are actively feeding on zucchini, flake, and frozen bloodworms. The F0 pair was purchased summer of 2017 at the Capital Cichlid Association auction. I have spoken with the seller and importer and the adults were brought in from Peru and shipped as L-183. However, they do not have the white seams. The male does have a little white flag on the dorsal portion of the caudal fin. The male can be jet black with small white spots, the female a bit patterned and more of a brown base with white spots. A good friend shared the picts and heard back from a knowledgeable pleco keeper that theyve seen fish like this sold as L-182 or as Ancistrus sp. Fine spot Peru. I can tell you the young are very hardy and grow MUCH faster than domestic ancistrus. Nice fish. Payment must be received within 48 hours of the auction close or I reserve the right to consider the sale null and void. Buyer pays $15.00 for USPS priority shipping with heat pack if necessary. I guarantee live arrival on two day delivery and will refund the price of the fish on DOA. In order to claim DOA, purchaser MUST email a picture providing proof of DOA in the original bag within 2 hours of the delivery time provided in tracking. Guarantee does not extend to the cost of shipping. Feel free to contact me with questions. Thanks!
