Description

You are bidding on a single young, unsexed, tank raised Ancistrus sp. �Honeycomb� or more commonly called Ancistrus sp. `WABENMUSTER` in German text. They are sized at 1.5" TL or larger. Photo shows one of my adult breeder males at about 4.5". My original breeders came from spawning efforts of well known hobbyist, Stephan Tanner, who brought these back to the USA many, years ago from one of his trips to Germany.

These were found in Brazil and only introduced into the hobby by accident as a contaminate (or by-catch). More info can be found on these sites: (sorry they are mostly in German):

Only method of shipping offered is USPS Express Shipping for $40, (for a single fish) if you are located close to Pittsburgh PA, shipping cost may be lower, ask. It will probably be best to use the �hold for pick up� (at post office) option if temps in your area are high. By using the �hold for pick up� option it will help protect the shipment from a day of exposure to weather conditions as it rides around in a mail truck for hours prior to delivery to your home. ALSO, this method can sometimes speed up the delivery times on scheduled 2 day deliveries to late next day. Serious bidders, BEFORE YOU BID, Email me your shipping zip code for delivery times as some USPS Express is a 2 day delivery.

High temperatures may delay shipping of fish

Live delivery will be guaranteed, as long as someone is present to receive & sign for shipment on the first delivery attempt. (Please make sure fish are tended to & unpacked upon arrival, as any DOA must be report to me within an hour of package acceptance. Photos of DOA in original, unopened bag required.). If using the �hold for pick up� option or a PO Box, packages must be picked up within 2 hours once available at your post office.

Live delivery is guaranteed to you, but I DO NOT GUARANTEE THE DELIVERY TIME! This means I guarantee you get live, healthy fish, if they arrive an hour late or day late, but alive and in good condition, you do not get any money back for the late delivery.

I don't use USPS Priority Mail (and please don't ask me to, saying you will take the risk!) because they are so unpredictable and unreliable. I have already had packages in the past take up to two weeks to get delivered; I will not to take a gamble with living things!!! Let us avoid any problems, headaches, arguments and hard feelings just to try and save a few dollars!!
