Description

(80+) Longfin Albino Bristlenose Pleco fry

LIQUIDATION SALE! This auction is for more than 80 beautiful healthy red eyed albino long fin bristle nose ancistrus pleco fry plus another 40 albino shortfin pleco fry (total of more than 120 fish), measuring 0.5 inch, born and raised with love in my home. These are almost 2 weeks old, too young to tell male from female, but with 120 fish you are guaranteed to get several of each gender, and they will breed in another 9 to 10 months, or you can resell them for easy $$$$. These fish typically sell for $4 to $6 each on Aquabid. Do the math and figure out what this package is worth! These pleco fry are trained to eat raw zucchini (green squash), french cut unsalted green beans, yellow squash, New Life Spectrum sinking pellets, thawed frozen brine shrimp, and flake food that sink to the tank floor.

These fry are the offsping of two unrelated parents to maximize genetic diversity: The father is from vendor Hellspawn4 of Indiana and the mother is from vendor BioAquatix of Florida. Both parents are homozygous albino for the same genetic locus. This parental genotype has been confirmed by the fact that 100% of their offspring are albino. Not a single brown fry emerged from these outstanding parents. Pleco experts know that there are 2 separate genetic loci that encode for albino in bushy nosed ancistrus, such that you can end up with brown non-albino fry even if both parents are red-eyed albino. These albino pleco fry have an albino mutation in the same genetic locus, which means that you will *never* get brown fry from these fish unless you mate them with other plecos of unknown genotype. Experts also know that long fin is an autosomal dominant mutation in bushy nosed plecos, which means that a short finned pleco can *never* carry the long fin gene mutation, even if both parents have very long fins.

LOCAL PICKUP ONLY (Edison, NJ). No shipping for these fish.

The fish look just like the ones in my video below:
