Hello folks! Happy October! This offering is for the 3 good sized L-204's you can see below. These are WOOD EATING Plecos and their scientific name is Panaqolus albivermis. If you don't have wood in your tanks and you don't want to have wood in your tanks then these fish are NOT for you. I used a tape measure on these guys this morning too cuz it was already handy from when I measured the L-004's and the largest fish is right about 4 inches long. I also believe the largest fish is a Male. The other 2 I am offering as "unsexed". These are about double the size of the L-204's I have been offering in the recent past and I was very happy to be able to get some bigger ones this time around. All 3 of these fish are eating GREAT and all 3 have nice FULL BELLIES. I sometimes see these imported with terribly sunken bellies and I do NOT buy or offer fish like those. I suggest you avoid them also! I am going away for the weekend but when I get back home Sunday night I WILL be setting these 3 fish up to be purged and ready to ship out Weds. That's cuz wood eaters HAVE TO be purged well before shipping so PLEASE if you win this offering communicate promptly with me Tuesday night so we can get these shipped Weds afternoon. I do NOT want to have to purge these twice. Panaqolus albivermis are one of my favorite L Numbers cuz they don't hide all the time and they are a nice hardy beautiful pleco that is easy to tame down and they don't get too big. These are full grown at about 5-6 inches. They also like warmer water and like I already said they must have a steady supply of wood to eat. They readily eat all sorts of sinking pellets, disk's, wafers, sticks, frozen foods etc. HERE is Planet Catfish's page on them and HERE is an excellent article on breeding them.
