Description

These are NOT L037 or L089 or L464 or some sort of man-made hybrid junk fish, these are in fact the Ancistrus sp. �Honeycomb� from Brazil, as seen on page 68 of Ingo Seidel�s, Back to Nature Guide to L-Catfishes book that was published in 2008.

These were found in Brazil and only introduced into the hobby by accident as a contaminate (or by-catch). More info can be found on these sites: (sorry they are mostly in German cause many have these fish in the USA! ):

My breeders came from spawning efforts of well known hobbyist, Stephan Tanner, who brought these back to the USA many years ago from one of his trips to Germany.

What you are bidding on is 6 tank raised unsexed young, sized at 1� or better total length. My photo shows some of my adults�simply a bad a$$ pleco you must admit! As far as I can tell, these are the first ones to be offered on AquaBid!! So if you�re looking for this super rare, awesome looking pleco, that you�ll probably have a decent chance of spawning some day, these are the fish to get!

Only method of shipping offered is USPS Express Shipping for a flat rate of $48.00. BUT, if you are located close to me and shipping rates are much lower, I'll be able to reduce the shipping cost, please email me with your shipping zip code to find out. Always a good idea to think about using the �hold for pick up� at post office option to help protect the shipment from a day of exposure to weather conditions as it rides around in a mail truck for hours prior to delivery to your home. ALSO, this method can sometimes speed up the delivery times on scheduled 2 day deliveries to late next day. Email me your shipping zip code for delivery times as some USPS Express is a 2 day delivery.

Live delivery will be guaranteed, as long as someone is present to receive & sign for shipment on the first delivery attempt to an address other than a post office. If using the �hold for pick up� service, packages must be picked up within 4 hours once available at your post office. - - - Live delivery is guaranteed to you, but I DO NOT GUARANTEE THE DELIVERY TIME!

I don't use USPS Priority Mail (and please don't ask me to, saying you will take the risk!) because they are so unpredictable and unreliable. I have already had packages in the past take up to two weeks to get delivered; I will not to take a gamble with living things!!!
