Hello folks! Happy Friday! This offering is for the last 5, YES FIVE, L-184 Ancistrus I have here in the fish room. I had the old orange dish tub out again last night and I photographed all 5 of them so you know what sizes they all are and what this awesome group of Ancistrus is all about. They are all between about 3 to 5 inches long and they are doing GREAT! **Important** One of the fish is blind in it's right eye but also doing GREAT. It was like that when I bought it and will be that way forever. I want you to know this up front so I don't have to refund some of your cash for sending you a one-eyed Ancistrus without first telling you about it. You can see that fish and it's bad right eye in the last photo below. It is the Ancistrus on the far right. I WOULD not worry about breeding that fish. 99 out of 100 times a missing eye is due to an injury earlier in the fish's life and NOT a genetic issue that will carry over into any fry the fish may parent. Try these L-184's out folks! You won't find cooler Ancistrus to breed! These things are SOLID BLACK and covered with white spots and they stay that was their entire lives. I have found them to be HARDY, GREAT feeders and an all around EASY fish to maintain. I can NOT 100% reliably sex these fish but if I had to guess I would guess there are 2 Males and 3 Females in this group. I took LOTS of close up photo's and posted them below so try sexing them out yourself if you like. These fish are SWEET and these are the LAST ONES I have. Now is the time to pull the trigger on them and make them your own! I will also send you some Veggie type foods for all these fish BUT I would also offer them meaty foods at least a couple times a week especially if you are trying to get a Female to start producing some eggs for you.
