Description

~ WEATHER PERMITTING FOR SHIPPING ~

You are bidding on 4 young, tank raised, unsexed, F2, Peckoltia sp. "Rio Paru" sized at 2 TL or larger! This is an undescribed species with no L-number that is very, very rare to find here in the USA! They can be seen in Ingo Seidel's book; "Back to Nature Guide to L-catfishes" on page 171, photo #2.

I got my breeders as young from a spawn from well known breeder Stephan Tanner of Swiss Tropicals who originally introduced this fish to the USA from Germany back in 2009.

My photo shows a couple of my adult breeders at 4.5 TL check out the odontodes on the back side of one of the breeding males!!! Also see a youngster at 1.25" TL at nearly 3 months of age as he rest on a piece of wood. This group of 4 fish should give you a fair chance of growing out to be a nice spawning group, but winner will have the option to take more at the winning bid price (per fish).

Remember these are tank raised, F2 fish, and as we like to say... Proudly Pennsylvania Produced, being spawned and raised in our own hatchery. These are NOT stressed out, emaciated imported fish (which are often misidentified) that just arrived in the USA and are ready to die!

Only method of shipping offered is USPS Express Shipping for a flat rate of $40.00. I highly recommend using the hold for pick up (at post office) option to help protect the shipment from a day or exposure to weather conditions as it rides around in a cold getredmail truck for hours prior to delivery to your home. This method can sometimes speed up the delivery times on scheduled 2 day deliveries to late next day. Email me your shipping zip code for delivery times as some USPS Express is a 2 day delivery.

Live delivery will be guaranteed, as long as someone is present to receive & sign for shipment on the first delivery attempt to an address other than a post office. If using the hold for pick up service, packages must be picked up within 4 hours once available at your post office. - - - Live delivery is guaranteed to you, but I DO NOT GUARANTEE THE DELIVERY TIME!

I don't use USPS Priority Mail (and please don't ask me to, saying you will take the risk!) because they are so unpredictable and unreliable. I have already had packages in the past take up to two weeks to get delivered; I will not to take a gamble with living things!!! Let us avoid any problems, headaches, arguments and hard feelings just to try and save a few dollars!!

Again, email me at sales@alloddballaquatics.com BEFORE YOU BID if you have ANY questions about the shipping or ANY other possible questions. Payment must be sent within 5 days of auction end, PLEASE! PayPal or United States Postal Service Money Orders accepted only. There will be a 3% additional cost added to the final total once shipping is calculated in, this is to help cover some of the banking, service and handling fees that I get hit with! THANKS FOR LOOKING AND MAKE SURE TO CHECK OUT ALL MY OTHER AUCTIONS, COMBINE WINNING AUCTIONS TO SAVE ON SHIPPING COST! Check out my feedback...it says it all about my fish & items and the way I do business!
