Hello folks! Happy Thursday! This offering is for 3 VERY NICELY marked HEALTHY L-169's also sometimes called Gold Stripe Panaque or LDA-01's. I bought these fish specifically to photograph them because they were in such nice shape and had nice full bellies right out of the box. That doesn't happen all the time especially with wood eaters. You are bidding on 3 although when I photographed them last weeky I photographed all 6 of them. I will pick you out NICE fish (they are all nice. PlanetCatfish featured these fish in one of their Fish of the Month articles a while back and here is a link to that info- FOTM Here is a link to their main page at PlanetCatfish- L-169 and here is how I am keeping them- They are in a 20 long in my harder Great Lakes tap water at about 82 degrees. I have some clay pots and wood in their tank (they NEED wood to eat and LOVE to hide on/in it. I am feeding them Veggie Sticks, Premium Veggie Wafers (those big FAT ones Kensfish sells) plus they get Mix #2 I am feeding some RREA Swordtails I have in this tank. Believe it or not I also have some larger Sakura Shrimp in this tank they completely ignore. They are active and come out when there is food around in the tank. I have had them about 6 weeks and they have done awesome since day 1! I do at least a 60% water change on this tank weekly. If you actually clicked the first link I provided you will see they have been spawned in the past and they used a hole in wood when they did. I am NOT sending you any wood BUT I would recommend you consider drilling a couple 1 1/2 inch holes in a nice piece of driftwood using a hole saw for these fish. I have seen this done for Ancistrus and L Numbers and they LOVE spawning in those holes so I bet that would be the way to go with these fish too. You can buy those drill bits at ANY larger hardware store and I bet lots of other cave spawners would use holes like those too.
