Description

What you are bidding on is a proven pair of Red Marble Ancistrus. They are from my line of red/orange marbles that are specifically bred for over a dozen generations for color and hardiness. I cull my babies ruthlessly and regularly introduce new blood to the lines to keep them strong. These guys are beyond tough. They both are healthy, vibrant, and great producers. I get a clutch of eggs every two weeks from these guys, and I don't feed them anything other than a variety of flake foods. The female has a nice, light orange color, and the Male is more of a deeper red. The male is also a great father. He will raise the eggs to the point of independence if you let him. They have just entered their breeding prime, but they are only a year or so old and thus still have quite a few years of production ahead of them. These guys produce around 60-80 babies a month that I sell to local stores for $4 a piece and they are always asking for more. I would love to keep them, but I already have several pairs going and need to make room for the next generation. Priority shipping will be $14 with no live arrival guarantee, but a live arrival guarantee is available with overnight Fedex only.
