10 + 2 Bristlenose Youngster Assortment

You are buying 10 fish, I will be shipping 12 fish.

I have been trying a lot of new pairings and keeping the fry separate so that if I get any exceptional or unusual offspring (and want to make more) I don't have to guess who the parents are. The fish in this auction will come from at least 4 different sets of parents, probably more. The last box had fish from 6 different sets of parents. I am trying to free up tanks that only have a few youngsters left in them, the fish aren't iRregULarS or runts, just youngsters who have managed to evade the net so far, speedie if you will... If you are setting up a bristlenose race track aquarium in Dubai, these are the fish for you! Or maybe you just want fish which aren't all siblings, without have to pay multiple shipping charges, that works too.

You will receive both albino and brown, there will be slightly more albinos. More than half of the fish will be standard fin but there will also be some intermediate fin. There will not be any of the maximum length longfins. They aren't all the same age so size will vary a little, most range from 1" to 1.25".

I am not planning on bagging them separately by parents. If that is important to you it can be done for an additional cost, ask before bidding. The postage will be higher and there will be a handling charge (because it's a PITA).

Bristlenose really appreciate a choice of several caves and especially males will establish territories. A diet rich in fiber including fresh veggies, such as collard greens, green beans, peas and zucchini is required. Driftwood for them to rasp on is advised and will provide additional fiber and aid digestion. A high protein diet without enough fiber can cause serious problems. Average size for mature adults is roughly 4" with females usually smaller than males but the fish may range from 3" up to 5". Plan on a minimum of 10 gallons per fish at full adult size (3 to 5 years).

Ideal temps are mid 70s, do not keep these fish over 80F. Seriously, these fish are fine at 65F but struggle with temps in the 80s. I don't care what you have read saying otherwise.

If you don't see what you are looking for in my auctions, you can also buy bristlenose a la carte. Mix and match from this stocklist to get exactly what you want.

Comprehensive care information will be provided to all buyers prior to shipment.

Payment is through PayPal only, no e-checks. When paying with PayPal, you must use a shipping address. If you want shipping to an Unconfirmed address, email before bidding/buying to discuss this. I ship to PO Boxes if it's a PayPal Confirmed Address.

Priority Mail shipping will be $14. The fish and a generous amount will be in a Breather Bag with of water and in a styro lined insulated box with heatpack. No shipping to locations over 80F or under 20F. Check your forecast!

If temperatures are warm enough both here and there for me to not need to use a heatpack, I can ship in a Regional A box and you will be refunded a portion of the shipping, $4.00 to $8.50 depending on zipcode.

LAG for 10 for 3 days if >25F and <80F.

Some of my other auctions may be combined with this for savings on shipping costs.

Thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK!
