Please read entire auction and updated Just Me before bidding. Shipping to contiguous 48 states only, (CONUS, not AK, HI, or PR). � Brown Intermediate Fin Bristlenose � � � � Photos are current, taken Sept 8th. The fish are around an inch maybe slightly larger. Priority Mail shipping and all packaging materials are INCLUDED in the price. You are bidding on THREE natural colored fish as shown above. Email if you would like a different quantity ($4 each, less for larger quantities) or a mix of brown and albino. These fish have intermediate fins, much longer than basic standard fins, but not quite as long as full longfins. These have been growing as fast as standard fins and are very vigorous, much hardier than longfins. They are a fancy pleco, especially as they get older, but are not as prone to crooked or split fins or broken pectorals. Of all the young bristlenose I have in my tanks, these lively little browns are my favorite. These are the result of crossing this Golden Brown male to a couple of albino longfin females. I was expecting half standard fins and half longfins but instead got 100% intermediate fins with a 50/50 split of brown and albino. The browns have a wide range of colors, some are the typical dark but there are also some which can change color and able to turn much lighter and should be golden browns like their dad. Bristlenose really appreciate a choice of several caves and especially males will establish territories. �A diet rich in fiber including fresh veggies, such as collard greens, green beans, peas and zucchini is required. Driftwood for them to rasp on is advised and will provide additional fiber and aid digestion. �A high protein diet without enough fiber can cause serious problems. �Average size for mature adults is roughly 4" - 5" with females usually smaller than males but the fish may range from 4" up to 6". �Plan on a minimum of 10 gallons per fish at full adult size (3 to 5 years). Ideal temps are mid 70s, do not keep these fish over 80F. �Seriously, these fish are fine at 65F but struggle with temps in the 80s. �I don't care what you have read saying otherwise. If you don't see what you are looking for in my auctions, you can also buy bristlenose a la carte. Mix and match from this stocklist to get exactly what you want. The only thing I ask is that you make a minimum purchase of $25 to avoid a handling charge. � Comprehensive care information will be provided to all buyers prior to shipment. Questions?
