Description

A peaceful pleco, the Pterygoplichthys scrophus makes a great algae eater for unplanted aquariums. Omnivorous, they will accept most freeze dried foods and pellets along with algae wafers and vegetables. They do require a large tank to accomodate their 10-12" size at maturity. The fish in this auction are 2.5-3" average size and will grow quickly, reaching their adult size in about a year.
