Description

If you don't see what you are looking for in my auctions, you can also buy bristlenose from this stocklist.

Please read entire auction and updated Just Me before bidding.

Shipping to contiguous 48 states only, (CONUS, not AK, HI, or PR).

Five Handsome Albinos

Maybe you want some nice looking utility fish. Maybe you want to introduce new blood without spending a small fortune for females. Maybe you like the comical bushy faces of adult Bristlenose males. Shown below is one of the available males, you can see the rest at this LINK (56K warning). Choose any 5 of those large juvenile males (females available separately). Although those males are not ready to breed quite yet, they will be soon.

All material costs are rolled into the auction price, shipping is just the actual postage!

Bristlenose really appreciate a choice of several caves and especially males will establish territories. A diet rich in fiber including fresh veggies, such as collard greens, green beans, peas and zucchini is required. Driftwood for them to rasp on is advised and will provide additional fiber and aid digestion. A high protein diet without enough fiber can cause serious problems. Average size for mature adults is roughly 4" with females usually smaller than males but the fish may range from 3" up to 5". Plan on a minimum of 10 gallons per fish at full adult size (3 to 5 years).

Ideal temps are mid 70s, do not keep these fish over 80F. Seriously, these fish are fine at 65F but struggle with temps in the 80s. I don't care what you have read saying otherwise.

If you don't see what you are looking for in my auctions, you can also buy bristlenose a la carte. Mix and match from this stocklist to get exactly what you want. The only thing I ask is that you make a minimum purchase of $25 to avoid a handling charge.

Comprehensive care information will be provided to all buyers prior to shipment.

Questions? Click for email.

Term details are on my Just Me page which was updated January 18th 2013. Please read it before bidding. A copy is also included in this auction as commented out text. Please do not bid if you cannot pay AND accept delivery promptly, the only reason I delay shipment is my weather.

Payment is by PayPal only, no e-checks. When paying with PayPal, you must use a shipping address. If you want shipping to an Unconfirmed address, email before bidding/buying to discuss this.

Shipping is postage for 8 pounds from 01888. You can check that cost yourself at usps.com, it will be much faster than asking me for a quote. Use the online price, not the post office price. Any excess will be refunded, even a penny. Express is required to locations with low temps below 20F. The fish will be in poly bags & a well insulated box with heatpacks as required. Hold for Pickup is available and may be required at my discretion to destinations with extreme temperatures.

LAG for 3 days if >25F and <75F.

Some of my other auctions may be combined with this for savings on shipping costs.

Thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK!
