Hello Folks! Happy Friday and Happy Holidays to Everyone! I have 2 VERY NICE Pr's. of Adult FO wild caught L-183 White Seam or sometimes called Starry night plecos I want to auction off this week. This auction is for ONE Pr. of them! Click here for more information and better photo's of them- More info in L-183's I am rotten at photographing black fish so what you see below took me well over 4 hours to acquire. I just don't get it. It took me about 5 minutes to get some GREAT shots of some new born 1/8th of an inch Half beak fry right after I spent 4 hours trying to get a few decent photo's of these 4 inch Ancistrus dolichopterus. Thank God I quit drinking cuz nothings worse than spending 4 hours only to end up with crappy photo's to show for it. I would have been hammered after the 1st wasted hour. Notice I shot this Pr. using a black background. That seemed to actually help a little bit. Remember that the next time you are photographing black fish. These are wild caught fish and doing GREAT. They acclimated extremely well to my harder Great Lakes water and are eating Earthworm and Veggie sticks aggressively along with what ever foods I add to the tank to feed a bunch of Odessa barb fry I have in with them. I added these to this tank to make sure they didn't have ich. It's impossible to tell if these things arrive with ich because of all the tiny whitish blue spots on them so I find if I toss them in with some tiny fry if those fry continue to do well my Starry nights don't have ich! I along with the Odessa barb fry are glad to report they arrived without ich! These are nice beefy, CLEAN fish and they are always a crap shoot to import. This is Pr. number 2.
