You are bidding onaPROVEN BREEDING PAIRCALICO (MARBLED) BRISTLENOSE PLECOS.
Your are bidding on the actual adult breeding pair in the pictures below. This pair has been breeding for me consistently for the past year, producing a new batch of young every 6 weeks. The average number of young each time they breed is between 65 and 110. As you can see from my ebay feedback, I have been selling these exact young for $30 per 6. These are guaranteed money makers. The male is pictured and a pic of the female can be emailed upon request. Do to a move this summer, all my breeding pairs must go!
As a BONUS, I will include my method for breeding and raising these plecos and this html template so you can use it to sell your young!
I have been raising these gorgeous plecos for several years now and have never been disappointed with them. They are hands down the best algae eaters you can purchase for your aquarium. And as a bonus, they don't destroy your plants! I use them in all my guppy breeding tanks. Not only are the great algae eaters, but they are also easy to breed. Give them a small cave or secluded area in your aquarium and they WILL breed. The female lays the eggs and the male guards them for about 3 weeks, until the young are about a half inch in size. They take excellent care of the young and several generations can be raised in the same tank as long as there are enough hiding spaces as the males become territorial when they get older. Maximum size when they are mature is 5 inches, which again makes them ideal for smaller tanks.
The strain that I raise is the calico. They have a nice marbled pattern of chocolate and albino type coloring. When the males mature, they get bristles on the end of their noses and can be a sight to see. Alway a talking point with any visitors who see them in any of my aquariums.
Shipping isa flat rate of $35.00! (Express Mail 2nd day delivery) I only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure the safe arrival of my fish.Live arrival guaranteed. Shipping Charges are non-refundable.
