You are bidding on (6) ALBINO LONGFIN BRISTLENOSE PLECOS.

I have been raising these gorgeous plecos for several years now and have never been disappointed with them. They are hands down the best algae eaters you can purchase for your aquarium. And as a bonus, they don't destroy your plants! I use them in all my guppy breeding tanks. Not only are the great algae eaters, but they are also easy to breed. Give them a small cave or secluded area in your aquarium and they WILL breed. The female lays the eggs and the male guards them for about 3 weeks, until the young are about a half inch in size. They take excellent care of the young and several generations can be raised in the same tank as long as there are enough hiding spaces as the males become territorial when they get older. Maximum size when they are mature is 5 inches, which again makes them ideal for smaller tanks.
The actual scientific name is Ancistus. The strain that is being auctioned is the Albino Longfins. They are true albinos and have amazingly long fins. When the males mature, they get bristles on the end of their noses and can be a sight to see. Always a talking point with any visitors who see them in any of my aquariums.
The young you are bidding on will be approximately one month old and are a prime size for shipping. I will ship 6 healthy young to ensure you get a good ratio of males to females. The pictures below are a male and female breeder and a sample of what the young look like.
Shipping is a flat fee of $10.85! (Priority Mail 2-3 day delivery) I only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure the safe arrival of my fish.Live arrival guaranteed on fish only, shipping charges are non-refundable.
