ALBINO OR BROWN DWARF BRISTLENOSE ANCISTRUS � � � Size will be from 0.75" to 1". You are bidding on one small bristlenose pleco, your choice of albino or brown, minimum size is 0.75" OAL. Up to at least 12 of each color are available to the winning bidder at the auction closing price. Email for availability if you want more than a dozen of one color. There are usually slightly more albinos than brown. These are baby fish and are too small to go directly into a tank with big fish. Email about compatibility if unsure. Just a short time in a peaceful tank should be all they need to reach a good size for larger tanks with larger fish. Adults will be 3" - 5", average 4". Nothing beats a bristlenose for general algae control! Bristlenose really appreciate a choice of several caves and males will establish territories. A diet rich in fiber including fresh veggies, such as zucchini, green beans, peas and collard greens is required. I will be INCLUDING some fresh high quality algae discs for them to eat to make sure they get off to a good start with you. Driftwood for them to rasp on is advised and will provide additional fiber and aid digestion. A high protein diet without enough fiber can cause serious problems. Plan on a minimum of 10 gallons per fish at adult size. Ideal temps are 70s up to about 80F. Get one or a dozen for the winning bid price. Here are the answers to the most common questions I get.
